Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using A Renovation's website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

Services Description

A Renovation provides professional home renovation services including but not limited to kitchen remodeling, bathroom renovations, basement finishing, home additions, custom cabinetry, and interior design services throughout Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.

Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your project requirements
• Ensure access to the work area during scheduled times
• Make timely decisions regarding materials, colors, and design choices
• Provide payment according to the agreed schedule
• Obtain any necessary permits or approvals required for your project

Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

• Deposit: 30% upon contract signing
• Progress payments: As outlined in the project schedule
• Final payment: Upon project completion and client satisfaction
• All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced

Project Timeline

Project timelines are estimates based on current conditions. We strive to complete projects on schedule but delays may occur due to weather, material availability, permit approvals, or unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate any delays promptly.

Changes and Modifications

Any changes to the original scope of work must be documented in writing and signed by both parties. Changes may affect project timeline and cost, which will be outlined in a change order.

Warranty and Guarantees

We stand behind our work with:

• Workmanship warranty: 1 year from completion date
• Material warranties: As provided by manufacturers
• Structural warranty: 5 years as per Ontario Building Code requirements

Limitation of Liability

A Renovation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from our services, including but not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, or property damage beyond our control.

Permits and Regulations

We comply with all Ontario Building Code requirements and local municipal regulations. Clients are responsible for ensuring their project complies with condominium bylaws, heritage designation requirements, or other specific property restrictions.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. The client is responsible for payment for all work completed and materials ordered up to the termination date.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this agreement shall first be addressed through direct negotiation. If unresolved, mediation will be pursued before legal action.

Insurance

A Renovation maintains comprehensive liability insurance and WSIB coverage as required by Ontario law. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
